In 2025, EGYTRANS ARABIA successfully executed a complex cross-border logistics operation for Anabeeb, involving the transport of heavy industrial machinery from Jubail, Saudi Arabia, to the 10th of Ramadan, Egypt, and back. As a leading service provider in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries, Anabeeb required a high-integrity solution for this time-sensitive, round-trip mobilization to support critical maintenance activities.

Scope of Work:

The project covered complete logistics planning, outbound and return transportation, and intricate customs clearance processes in both countries. This included documentation preparation, permit acquisition, and regulatory compliance for temporary import/export procedures.

Engineering & Execution Strategy:

• • Specialized Equipment: A 38-axle trailer was deployed to accommodate the substantial dimensions and weight of the machinery.

• Two-Way Compliance Management:
• • In Saudi Arabia, the process included deposit guarantees, commercial invoices, and Certificates of Origin for temporary export, with re-export formalities to reclaim the customs deposit.
• • In Egypt, the operation capitalized on industrial VAT reductions (5%) and customs duty exemptions, with temporary import fees capped at 2% per month.
• • Seamless Turnaround: The return logistics were executed with the same level of precision, ensuring the machinery was delivered back to Jubail without delay or compliance issues.
