In 2024, Egytrans Arabia successfully executed the cross-border transportation of 5,000 precast concrete railway sleepers from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi, contributing to a key rail infrastructure initiative supporting GCC-wide connectivity and modernization.

Scope of Work:

The project covered complete handling, secure loading, overland transport, customs clearance, and final delivery of sleepers, each weighing 250–300 kg, requiring careful coordination to ensure speed and cargo protection.

Engineering & Execution Strategy:

• • Transport Optimization: A mixed fleet of flatbed and low-bed trailers was deployed, utilizing phased loading and consolidation to reduce trips and maintain delivery flow.
